Racer for a Day
Are you thinking about joining the club but you would like to get a feel for it first? Then this is the day for you.
Racer for a Day gives prospective members the opportunity to ski with our certified coaches for the day or an evening. Participants will experience a typical day of training and may even get the chance to ski some gates.
Designed for skiers born between 2000-2012 who are at an intermediate skiing ability. This means you have the ability to get on and off a chair lift (assistant from the lifty is okay if you’re not tall enough), and the ability to ski an intermediate run under control. Intermediate skiing ability is described as being able to ski parallel throughout the turn, but not always consistently on more challenging terrain.
This is a fantastic way to experience the program, meet some of the members, talk to the head coach and see what a typical ski day is for us. We will be happy to answer any questions that you may have.
Trial Day is $0 program + $25 temporary membership fee= $25
The following is NOT provided:
– lift pass for the day
– ski clothing and equipment
– a certified snow-sports specific helmet (no cycling / moto helmets)
– snow goggles
– gear that is in good working order (skis, boots, poles)
– weather appropriate clothing + an extra set of gloves (we are on a mountain!)
