About

the club

The Mount Seymour Ski Club is the club to join! The Club was established in 1936 to share and enjoy the mountains and snow sports offered on Mount Seymour. The Club has been in continuous operation since then, making it the second oldest ski club in British Columbia.

The Mount Seymour Ski Club is a non profit organization run by members for the members. Come be a part of the Mount Seymour community.

our mission

The Mount Seymour Ski Club is committed to creating a fun and safe environment for our athletes to develop their ski and race skills. We achieve this goal through high quality coaching and training delivered by fully qualified and experienced coaches.

While we strive for excellence on the hill and in the race course, our ultimate goal is to encourage the love of the sport of skiing and racing in every member. Skiing is an activity to be enjoyed no matter what age you might be.

our programs

For more information on the programs we offer, please visit our program pages: Nancy Greene for 5-10 year olds, K-Star for 8-10 year olds, Alpine for 11-16 year olds and the TNT program for adults looking to bash some gates.

the cabin

Since 1936, the Mt. Seymour Ski Club has maintained a Cabin on the mountain to provide children with a warm and dry place to eat their lunch with their teammates and coaches. The cabin was available to all club members, as well as parents, to stop for lunch, warm up, and meet their children after events.

Unfortunately, during a freak lightning storm late in the spring of 2005, the cabin was destroyed by fire. Until our new cabin is built, we will be establishing a temporary but hospitable facility to house the club.
