Midweek Training

Hello everyone,

Due to the current conditions on Seymour there will not be any evening training this week. The snow is thin and the exposed rocks pose too much of a safety hazard.

In lieu of skiing we will be running dry land training both evenings at Mahon Park in North Van. Training is open to all members, U8-18.

What will we be doing at dry land? A typical session includes a mix of agility, balance, and coordination activities as well as cardio, and strength training. The exact training is targeted to the age group to keep things fun. I would highly recommend coming out even if you have never been before.

The details:
When: Tuesday and Thursday – 18:00-19:00
Where: Mahon Park
Gear: Running gear, water, weather appropriate clothing, and a headlamp if you have one (for the trail run).
